Cause:
This typically happens when the user refreshes the page while the shipment creation process is still in progress. The refresh interrupts the flow, causing the system to leave the shipment in an intermediate state.
Resolution / Internal Handling Steps:
Ticket Received:
When support receives a ticket regarding a shipment stuck in “SHIPMENT INPROGRESS”, proceed as follows:Request Confirmation:
Before taking any action, obtain confirmation from Ryan, Julius, or Jasmin that it is appropriate to proceed with updating the shipment status.Update Shipment Status:
Once confirmation is received, manually update the shipment status in the database
