Issue:
Users may encounter the following error message when uploading allocation files:
“Cumulative allocation percentage for valid vendors should be 100%. Current valid allocation: NaN%”
Steps Taken:
The user uploaded an allocation file.
Upon submission, the system returned the above error regarding the cumulative allocation percentage.
Cause:
This error occurs when the system cannot calculate a valid cumulative percentage for the allocation due to one or more of the following reasons:
The allocation percentages do not sum up to exactly 100% for the valid vendors in a given lane.
One or more rows may contain non-numeric or special characters in the allocation percentage column.
There may be invalid or incomplete vendor information, which causes the system to exclude them from the calculation — resulting in a “NaN%” (Not a Number) output.
Resolution / Next Steps:
To resolve this issue, please ensure the following before re-uploading:
Check Allocation Percentages:
Confirm that the total allocation percentage for each lane sums to exactly 100% across all valid vendor entries.Validate Input Format:
Ensure there are no special characters or blank spaces in the allocation fields. All percentage values must be numeric only (e.g., 25, 33.33).Review Vendor Entries:
Make sure all vendors listed are valid and active, and their corresponding rows are complete.
